Nothing but miraculous

In the book of Galatians, the Apostle Paul begins his letter by saying this in the first chapter.
“Jesus gave his life for our sins, just as God our Father planned, in order to rescue us from this evil world in which we live.”
Galatians 1:4 NLT
Strangely there are so many differing ideas about the person of Jesus. God has never had a messaging problem. His marketing plan wasn’t flawed. He made it abundantly clear what His plan was. From the very beginning of humanity He made His plan to rescue us known. Throughout the Old Testament He gave many prophesies concerning His plan of rescuing us through Jesus. If you took the time to count them you’d find there are over 350!
These prophecies are specific enough that the mathematical probability of someone fulfilling even a handful of them, let alone all of them, is staggeringly improbable—if not impossible. The prospect that anyone would satisfy even eight of these prophecies is just 1 in 10 to the 17th power, that’s 1 in 1000000000000000000!!! It would be like covering Ireland with 2 euro coins over 6 feet deep across the entire island, marking only one, and asking someone whom we blindfolded to find that one marked coin. It would be an impossible task.
Jesus fulfilling even 8 of these prophecies is a scientific, mathematic impossibly. The miraculous thing is that Jesus fulfilled every single prophecy, over 350! This would be mind boggling, except this was God’s plan. He isn’t intimidated by the odds or statistics. For Him Jesus coming and fulfilling the prophecies, that He gave, was like child’s play.
God set in motion His plan to rescue mankind from their sins from the very beginning. The reason Jesus was able to fulfil every prophecy is because He alone is the Saviour prophesied. Many had come before Jesus, and many after, but it is Jesus alone who was appointed by God to give His life for our sin.
Differing from the mindset that many may have about God, His intent is not to punish us, it never was. He isn’t out to punish sinners. He sent Jesus to save us, not to punish us.
This may go against what you have heard, but this is the Bible, this is God’s own word.
In what is probably the most famous scripture in the Bible, John 3:16 it says…
“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
This verse tells us matter of factly that God loves the world. His love for you and I compelled Him to send Jesus for the purpose of dying for our sin and that through Jesus, if we believe what He has done for us, that we will have eternal life through Him.
Personalise Galations 1:4, “Jesus gave his life for MY sins, just as God our Father planned, in order to rescue ME from this evil world in which I live.”
You haver always been part of God's plan, and part of His heart!
